The Jersey International Finance Centre 6 project was a fast-paced, high-pressure build, and we were brought in to construct the RC core along with concrete slabs on metal decking. With tight deadlines and no room for error, our team thrived under pressure, delivering a structurally sound and high-quality result.
One of the standout aspects of this project was our innovative approach to temporary works. By implementing a jump-form shuttering system, we streamlined the construction process, reducing both time on site and overall costs for the client. This not only demonstrated our expertise in complex temporary work solutions but also reinforced our commitment to efficiency and value engineering.
Despite the demanding nature of the project, we ensured seamless coordination with the principal contractor, reinforcing our reputation for reliability and collaboration. By delivering on time, to a high specification, and with a sharp focus on precision completing cores over 6 floors well within required tolerances, whilst ensuring temporary works were accurately co-ordinated with permanent works, we further cemented our position as a trusted partner in high-profile commercial developments.
This project also demonstrated what can be accomplished using local contractors to complete the project earlier than previous buildings and Rok are to be congratulated for their commitment to local companies and their ability to seamlessly co-ordinate each discipline.
